Looking for our next Marketing Manager & Development Associate

After an exciting and rewarding five years, I’ll be handing over the reins (and reign) of the Communications Director & Development Associate position. It’s been a wild and fun ride, and I’ll miss you all (though I’m looking forward to re-joining the Film Forum volunteer ranks, so don’t think you’ll be entirely rid of me).

Marketing Manager and Development Associate
As marketing manager this person directs public perception of programs and the organization as a whole, overseeing flow of information from file to print, web, broadcast and other media.  As publicist, this person is the primary contact for press and press screenings and works with program staff to execute marketing and promotions plans for cinemas, classes and artist support programs and with the executive director on the organizational story. Oversees the marketing budget. As development associate s/he works with the executive director on events and parties, including the annual gala, to raise money as well as awareness of the Film Forum. On the annual campaign and membership she manages the membership coordinator, tending members, thanking them in a timely way, and working with the executive director on the annual campaign message, and on the mailings associated with annual fund. Oversees the Volunteer Coordinator and Membership Coordinator. She reports to the Executive Director. This is a full-time, salaried position.
